I must say that I was highly disappointed by Ms.Perry's, play-turned-movie "Meet the Browns". Bad, bad LeRoy Brown was funny as hell tho, but not even his colorful outfits, ashy knees and funny way of pronoucing things couldn't save this movie. I was one of the millions of colored folks who went and saw this hot mess and I wanted my money back. But thats what I get for watching that mess. Although I was highly pissed, the movie still did well. According to http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20080327/FEATURES/803270385/-1/newssitemap, the movie grossed 20.1 million.
