I stumble upon this vid today and I'm truly blown away by Duffy's voice. The Brit's have taken what our music use to sound like, learned and are doing it better. I mean better compared to today's artist that is. So what are your thoughts on Duffy, Estelle, Amy Winehouse and Adelle?

Faking it you make it

Is it better to fake it til you make it? When my aunt puts on her "face"(makeup) and steps out, her life is seemingly prefect: strong and stable marriage, amazing job and beautiful children. But behind closed doors, when her happy face is wiped clean, she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders: nieces and nephews strayed from the lighted path, a middle child willing to die to be accepted, a great job with no chance of advancement- just a pay raise and a crumbling marriage. Her marriage didn't have a strong base in the beginning (she gave the man a choice between married life or life without her after 2 years, deep huh?) She has come to me a number of times about her sacred unity. My question is, is it better to fake a happy life vs being alone? If so, when will she "make it"? I leave you with two things to chew over: 1) marriage doesn't guarantee a happily ever after and 2) Divorce doesn't occur when people don't understand each other anymore, but that they've only begun to.

Three ladies with their right foot toward fashion, graced "Rap-up" and they look amazing! I do have a question, um...what exactly does Keri do? I know she is said to able to sing (i know she has been on 50 million songs, but is that really sanging?) and write but when is she releasing an album? Is she gonna be like Jennifer Hudson? How many years did it take for her to FINALLY make a vid? Exactly....

Obama, Obama is looking very Men in Black-ish on one of the many Ebony cover for the 25 coolest brothers of all time. I like to know that my future prez is fly and makes turning gray attractive. Yes I said it! Obama isn't bad looking and you know it.

THIS should have been Hancock's theme song! Since it wasn't his, it's mine! The song goes hard and Nas is speaking the truth. The track has a strong message over an amazing beat with Keri moaning over it which makes a song that's on my playlist. Can't stop the Street Poet.

Mariah Carey- "I'll be loving you long time"

The vid is pretty, reminds me of the commerical for her funky "M" mess tho. All I can and will say is that she is milking that "marriage" with the choice songs being released from the album huh?

LL cool J ft/ Dream- "Baby"

I love this song! James loves amazing and the vid isn't bad but I will say this, it's very Usher "yeah!"ish to me with the "Rock with you" lights and club scence. Overall, this will be my summer song, right behind "All around the world" of course! Leave thoughts in the comment section plz!
